In our own kitchen renovation, my family pitched in for demo as we opened the wall between the kitchen and den to create a more connected, livable space. Relocating the refrigerator eased a long-standing pinch point, and updated finishes and a cozy banquette now invites lingering meals, conversation, and homework sessions—all in a space designed for everyday ease and togetherness.
