Harper Harris Design Studio is a comprehensive residential and interior design firm that works to help their clients live life in their homes to the fullest since January 2019.
About the Company
With a background in commercial architecture and projects that exceeded $50 million, nothing is too big a task in residential design for Harper Harris. We are qualified and passionate about seeing our projects through and helping achieve a cohesive vision by aiding in designing furnishings.
Though we are a high-end and luxury service, we are not intimidating and are known for being incredibly approachable and clear in our communication. The level of professionalism and detail in our drawings allows us to work well with the team of contractors, cabinet makers, countertop fabricators, plumbing vendors, and any other variety of team member that is needed to achieve the desired final outcome. Designing in 3D allows clients to actually visualize themselves in their renovated spaces. We know, through years of experience, that the home renovation process can be enjoyable and that clients will ultimately achieve a beautiful and functional home that they can be proud of.
Amanda Hickam
owner & lead designer
Having always dreamed of designing for herself, Amanda Hickam is the Lead Designer of Harper Harris. Amanda has her hand in everything as she leads the vision for the firm and creatively leads in every project undertaken. She is commonly found sketching a concept or visiting project sites for Harper Harris. Her expertise is found in space planning, aesthetics, and vast knowledge in renovations. Furthermore, due to her friendly personality people actually enjoy working with her and embrace the renovation process.
She graduated from Auburn’s College of Architecture and Design, where she learned how to use every inch of space efficiently. However, she felt a bit creatively stifled and would go to dream in the library at work where she could study the tile and stone samples. Believing in God’s perfect timing, she is now finally doing what she loves by improving homes and actually getting to see her clients enjoy their spaces. This line of work is deeply personal, and that is something Amanda does not take lightly.
